Product testing is amazing

One of the best tricks I learned quickly is that becoming a product tester gets you tons of free stuff without costing much of your time. Yes, I could go out and search for a better paying job and all that other stuff.. but that's not realistic. What is? Filling out surveys while watching Netflix, case showing products while my friends are over and calling them parties, and posting on Instagram for free shit.

Here are the best websites to do this:

2. Momsmeet: Even if you are not a mom, become a member of this group. By far my favorite. When you get samples, they are not tiny hotel sized stuff, I am talking the big full size regularly priced products are what shows up at your door. And they are frequent. I have received more from this website than all others combined. Make sure you fill out the giveaways, contests, sample applications and agree to all the terms and conditions. You will not be disappointed.

3. Influencer: You have to do a lot of Instagram posting for this website. I recommend getting an Instagram account solely for this place because you will annoy the hell out of your friends using your personal account if all you post is the shit you own with #sponsor underneath. It really annoyed my friends, and it annoys me when my feed is just full of that crap, so avoid it. Also, I have been posting for a long time and only received 1 item.. so it's kind of not worth it.

4. CrowdTap: Okay, this one actually pisses me off. I have done a ton of product surveys for this website to earn points with the promise that I will get an Amazon gift card. Well, turns out that in order to get the gift card you have to link your CrowdTap account to your facebook and if you do not have enough friends, you won't get the gift card. So if you are a person without a Facebook or don't have lots of friends, don't bother with this place.

5. SheSpeaks: This is another pretty decent website, but you must like Twitter to use it. I mean all the giveaways are Twitter based. Also, you want to level up as fast as possible so that you can get more stuff. You level up by doing product reviews of things you own. I am a Urban Decay lover and just talking about my makeup was enough to get me to the max level. So, it was pretty easy.

6. House Party: This is probably my 2nd favorite place to get stuff. House Party.fun (not to be confused with the chat app) is a website where you apply to host parties that case show the product you are applying for. This to me is easy, I always have a ton of people hanging around my house, so taking pictures and getting friends to come over and try the product out is not difficult. Also, the grab bags are pretty sweet (except 7up, that one sucked), they generally include coupons and full sized products.

Here are some guidelines to better assist your chances in being picked:

*Make sure you throw the party on the specific date determined by the company.

*The party has to be X amount of people (I shoot for 7-10) in order to be a success. The application makes you invite them via email once you are picked, so don't say you will invite 50 people if you don't have 50 email addresses.

*Take the damn pictures! I didn't do this once and I was never picked again (until I made a new account). So unless you want to juggle more than one or two accounts.. just take the damn picture.

*Fill out the feedback form. If you hate the product, say it.. you do not get brownie points for telling them what you think they want to hear.

Also, if you don't want to throw parties, House Party has a section called Chatterbox that you apply to review samples. Less stuff but still a good way to score some freebies.

7. Tryazon: Pretty much identical to House Party. Different stuff to showcase but all the same rules.

8. PinchMe: Now and then I will get a box of free samples; however, they are like mini samples not full products. You have to complete missions for those mini samples and sign up on Tuesday to fill up your box. This website is good if you want a box of free sample type stuff and run of the mill coupon offers but there are better companies out there.

9. Smiley 360: This website is very similar to Bzzagent. Fill out surveys and hope you get picked to try out the samples. One note I have realized is that you have to be really dedicated to this website to get stuff. I signed up like three years ago and only received one item (and that was with months of activity online).

10. Retail Stores: There are a few retail stores that also sign people up as product testers.. here are a few: Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Columbia, Minute Rice, and Disney. I have applied for all of these companies and never heard a word about it.

Also, google Companies that offer free product testing there are some other websites out there that I did not mention that I know exist.

Happy Product testing!
